For the last 20 years, I’ve purchased and sold a home every two years. We had a wonderful experience with Kelley as our real estate agent. She was readily available whenever we needed her help, and kept in close communication throughout our time of looking for a home.  She was very knowledgeable about the home buying process, which was very valuable to us as first time home buyers. Kelley came highly recommended by several people in my mother’s group. I immediately understood why everyone loved working with her. We were in a very competitive price-range and Kelley fully set our expectations about the types of properties that would be available to us  (normal sale,  foreclosures/reo, short sale) and the process for dealing with each type. She spent over 3 months with us and helped us submit at least 8 offers. The home we eventually bought had multiple bids and received multiple counter offers. Kelley was extremely creative in helping us craft a counter offer that went beyond putting more money down and made us stand out from the others. She is also very handy when it comes to referrals for electricians, plumbers, handymen, etc. When we’re ready to move into a bigger home, we’re definitely working with Kelley!

And we did use Kelley a few years later when we bought a bigger home and sold the first one.  In a very heated seller’s market and after a few months of submitting offers on homes that were seeing 15-20 offers most far over asking price, Kelley’s professional rapport helped us secure an amazing home that we fell in love with. She impressed the seller’s agent and again made us standout (the seller’s agent made it very clear that Kelley was the difference). As soon as we moved into our new placed, we put the old home up for sale and Kelley had an excellent offer in hand — ready to close within a few days. That was a complete surprise as we expected to be carrying another mortgage for at least 2 more months. We’re staying put, but if we need to sell or buy another home, we wouldn’t use anyone else but Kelley.

She was awesome.  She was very knowledgeable, listened to what we were looking for, previewed a ton of homes for us so we wouldn’t waste time looking at houses that wouldn’t even make the short list, was very patient and accommodating while house hunting with an infant, and was altogether  everything we could have asked for in a realtor.  I could go on and on about how great she was.  We interviewed a couple of Realtors and just felt really comfortable with Kelley. We don’t have direct experience with her as a listing agent, but I would imagine her attention to detail and hard work would apply there too.  She previews homes in the area every week so she is very familiar with today’s market and this area.  We also found her to have great intuition when it came to negotiations and she followed through on every request, sometimes within minutes. Even after the smooth and successful closing on our home, we still have used Kelley as a resource a number of times for recommendations on home maintenance contractors and any other questions we feel she might be able to help us with.  We will use Kelley in the future for any home purchasing or selling needs.

Kelley is a rare find in the sales world, she is not driven by the commission. During our ten month house search Kelley talked us out of purchasing two homes. Other realtors would be happy to get the sale but she wanted us to purchase a house that fit our life style and needs. She understands all aspects of real estate which helps a lot in the current market. Kelley is our realtor of choice for current and future real estate deals.

I decided with the down economy and personal issues taking place that it was best to cut ties with my home and try to live a simpler life. Kelley Solberg first came into my life when I was considering Short Selling my home.  She placed a letter on my doorstep offering her services as an agent knowledgeable about Short Sales. Normally I would’ve thrown it away, but it was double spaced and to the point and read very easily.  I immediately called her and that began a very equitable, professional relationship.  She is just plain good.  And her knowledge about Short Sales, and complicated sales for that matter is outstanding. I can’t say enough positive things about Kelley. Searching for a house in this area isn’t an easy process, but Kelley led us through multiple contracts, difficult negotiations, and a lack of inventory with optimism, integrity and calm. When we finally found our home and the contract went through,  it was in large part because of the way Kelley had written and presented the contract – I truly believe if we had been working with another agent we wouldn’t have found our home.
